These facial illustration was aimed at fostering a sense of shared humanity and national unity by visually demonstrating that our core emotional experiences as Nigerians – joy, sorrow, contemplation, surprise, and hope- are identical, regardless of our ethnic background. The aim is to build empathy by focusing on what conencts us rather than divides us.
